The saga continues
According to a recent report, the Toyota FT-86 is on schedule for a November 2011 launch. While this was expected, recent rumors have suggested the car was delayed until 2013.
Speaking with 7tune, Toyota’s Dr. Shigeyuki Hori and Kazuo Okino reaffirmed the company’s intention to launch the car as planned. While neither would go into a lot of detail, they revealed the production version is nearly 50% complete and the mid-level model is targeted to have a price of 2.5 million yen ($28,610 / €22,000).
